Review : 4/5. Tim Burton's re-imagined version of the long running Broadway musical Sweeney Todd is both captivating and beautiful . Johnny Depp does a superb job singing Sondheim's score and Helena Boheme Carter brings her own eccentric personalty to the character of Mrs. Lovett. The film does drag on a bit too long and the musical itself works better on stage , but the cast and direction of the film make this a truly great horror musical classic.
