Plot: A struggling American singer moves to Japan to better her chances at becoming a rock star . Along the way she falls in love with her Japanese co-writer.

Review : 4/5. Tokyo Pop stars the late Carrie Hamilton (Daughter of Carol Burnett) in one of her first film roles. The film offers nothing new in terms of wannabe rock star films , but it is enchanting and sweet .
